You Need a Steam Account Now to Upload Fallout 4 Console Mods

In all effort to combat piracy, Bethesda now requires mod creators to link their Steam accounts when submitting a Fallout 4 PC mods. to consoles.

Now, when you want to upload mods to consoles, Bethesda.net will verify first your Steam account.

At the moment, you can upload mods on PC to Xbox One with 2 GB limit. For PS4 owners, Bethesda said that they will be releasing the mod support for the said console soon but, there's no telling on when exactly they'll release it.

Also, there has been talks that the PS4 has only 900 MB cap for mod support compared to the Xbox One's 2 GB limit. Indeed, it will be useless to bring out mod support with this kind of cap limit to PS4 as you can't really do a lot or even try those epic mods that you want. However, Bethesda did say that they are currently working with Sony to fix this problem. And I just hope they will.
