During Ubisoft's E3 conference, they revealed two paid expansions in the game which are Underground and Survival. Also, the devs showed off some costumes which will be added in the game later.
First, let's tackle about the new expansions. The first one is the Underground.
In the upcoming expansion, "Underground,"you and your team will be fighting against dangerous threats underneath the streets of New York city." It's, "just one of the updates we'll be releasing this year," on June 28 on Xbox One and PC; August 2 on PS4. Now IGN has a sweet 8 minutes of gameplay of the "Underground" dlc and you can watch it below:
The second paid expansion Ubi talks about in E3 is "Survival.
"Very soon" Ubisoft will also offer, "a completely new way of playing the game." In "Survival," a huge blizzard turns The Division's New York into an even less hospitable environment, with even more limited supplies. "Survival," too, feels like an accidental reference to the game's goals.
Also in the event, Ubi had announced some freebies coming to the game in the form of costumes.
For those that are big fans of some of Ubisoft’s other franchises, they revealed that all The Division players will be revealing three free costumes for use in the game based on Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and Rainbox Six: Siege.
Costumes in The Division are nothing more than cosmetic items, but they are still something that are neat to have to set yourself apart in the Dark Zone especially.
It appears that these can be earned through Ubisoft Club, but we’ll have to wait for more details on exactly how to get them in the game so make sure to stay tuned for those details later.
