A plenty of Mac users has reported that after updating their computers to OS X 10.11.14, they are experiencing this freezing issue at a random rate. Also, some mac users which updated their mac to OS X 10.11.5 has reported that they are having the same problem.
Now the problem with Mac being frozen is it becomes unresponsive and often times, it needs a force reboot to repair it. Apple has acknowledge this issue though with the 13" Retina Macbook Pro models and in fact, they have offered a support document titled “If MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) becomes unresponsive when a web browser is running” which will fix this problem.
According to the company, the solution to the unresponsive Mac behavior is quite simple. One is to update OS X and other software from the Mac App Store. And two is to update the Flash plugin, if applicable.
Mac users can update the system software and apps on their Mac by simply going to the Apple menu > App Store and choosing the “Updates” section. Just remember to backup your Mac before installing any system software update. For updating the Flash, it must be done separately from Adobe. However, there's another workaround for this and that is to uninstall the Flash of your Mac completely and use the plug-in sandboxed in Chrome browser instead, which updates itself along with the browsers.
So that's it guys. I hope that you will solve your Mac freezing problem with this fix given by Apple themselves.
