Hajime Tabata, the FF series director shared a new information about the Final Fantasy XV virtual reality experience for Playstation VR.
He said that the VR experience will not be a separate project. Instead, it will be an extra something to be enjoyed by those who brought Final Fantasy XV on Playstation 4. He added that it will not be available as the game hits store shelf, as Final Fantasy XV will be release on September 30th, while the VR version of it will be available on October 13th. That's why he said that it will be some sort of a DLC for the game.
"We aren't thinking about marketing it as a separate project at all. It really is something extra to be enjoyed by the people who purchased the game. We're thinking it'll probably be a DLC release later for the game. It really is our core belief that we should satisfy the people who buy the game that we've made as much as possible; we also want them to play for as long as possible too so it really does help with that—gives them something extra." — Hajime Tabata
