Earlier today, I've reported something about some early details for Rise of Iron. It appears that the expansion will be released on September 20th for PS4 and XB1. The exclusivity of it to newer console is still a debate but, what we know so far aside from it's release date is that it'll have a new raid, new weapons, increase in light level and a whole lot more. But now, let's discuss the topic on hand. Accelerated-ideas has reported that Gjallarhorn will make an appearance in Rise of Iron. This only means that you will have the chance to use this beastly weapon again! However, here's the catch. You have to pre-order Destiny's Rise of Iron Expansion to get the Gjallarhorn.
To be more specific, once you've pre-order the expansion, you will get the year 3 (well, sort of) Gjallarhorn. Rather appropriately, Bungie have used the term "It's back"...."in black" as the trade mark for the return of every fans favorite weapon. We don't know if this weapon will be as good as the original, it's doubtful that Bungie would make the same mistake, but we can be sure that it will still pack that familiar punch and should be part of every long term Destiny fans arsenal!
As for the pricing of pre-order for Destiny's Rise of Iron expansion, well, we haven't got a clue yet. We are still waiting for the official news about it. For now, you can sit back and relax as you watch the leaked trailer below of Rise of Iron:
