Overwatch's Widowmaker Might Get Some Balancing in the Future

Well I don't want to call it nerfing as I think that Widowmaker is not that OP at all.

Right over the Battle.net forums, game Director Jeff Kaplan was asked about if they have plans regarding widowmaker. The whole statement is like this and I quote:
This is directed towards Jeff Kaplan or any other Blizzard developer.

Thank you for responding to the issue that is Mccree. However, I was wondering if you have any plans regarding Widowmaker.

In both pub matches and competitive play she is by far the most dominant hero in the game. Multiple factors like too high bodyshot damage, shots that recharge too quickly, SMG that is almost as powerful as S:76's Pulse Rifle, an extremely powerful ultimate that is not clearly announced to the enemy team, etc.

I am not asking for any details, merely questioning whether or not you are currently looking at her balance-wise.

Sincerly,

Alex
From the moment I saw "Alex", I thought it was the Alex from Tom Clancy's: The Division. LOL. I was just being funny. So anyway, I think what "Alex" is trying to say to Blizzard is that if they have plans of balancing Widowmaker or not. Well, I'm not really sure if Widowmaker is that OP that she needs balancing however, some believes that she inflicts too much damage to enemies and her ultimate ability which allows players from the entire team to see through walls is extremely powerful.

Now, Kaplan did replied to this message stating that they are currently looking if Widowmaker needs some balancing.
Widowmaker is on our radar. We are discussing her. We have some internal experiments going to see if we can keep her viable while lowering the frustration threshold a little bit. Right now, this is just exploration. If something more comes of it, we'll let you know.
Again, it's really not a concern for me whether Widowmaker gets some nerfing/balancing or not. But, I am really glad that I have bought a game that has dev support which are always finding ways to make the game better.
