Want a Deathclaw as Your Companion? Then this Fallout 4 Mod Will Do the Trick!

It seems that my wish of owning a Deathclaw as a pet has finally come true! Thanks to this awesome mod that converts nearly every creature that can be captured in the Wasteland Workshop as your very own companion.

Modder steelfeathers have come up with a great idea of creating a mod, which will allow players to pet a Deathclaw or a Radstag in the game. The mod is called Beast Master and it’s basically provides a stream-lined, immersive method for taming, commanding, and interacting with the creatures of the Wasteland. It also introduces a brand-new creature companion framework, built from the ground up to give you the type of satisfying companionship you thought you could only get from a vanilla companion.

This mod will allow players to create a control chip which can be implanted mostly on any capture creatures (with the exemption of human of course). Once the chip is implanted, the creature can then respond to your vocal commands, fight enemies, and you can even customised its appearance with accessories and paint.

But the most interesting feature of the mod is that players can impact the moods of their new pet creatures in the game:  Feed them with treats and spruce up their appearance will more likely increase their happiness towards you. While injecting them with a mutating serum for a temporary stat-boost may displease it. Just a friendly warning though: Injecting too much serum will lower your monster pet’s happiness and when it is displeased, it will attack you.

Lastly, the Beast Master mod has taken into consideration a large chunk from Fallout 4’s list of perks. This only means that players are given some alternative methods of taming with the right perks. If you have unlocked the Animal Friend or Wasteland Whisperer perk already, then you can just simple speak to the captured monster to tame them, rather than construction a chip. In addition, you can also keep your existing vanilla companion as the Beast Master Companions can be use simultaneously with a normal companion.
