The Pokemon Company has released a new trailer for Pokemon Sun and Moon, unveiling the seven new Pokemon in the game. The Pokemon who were revealed in the trailer are Tapu Koko, Charjabug, Vikavolt, Drampa, Bruxish, Cutiefly, and Togedemaru, in addition to another look at Zygarde’s two new Formes.
Want to know more about these Pokemon? Then read the details below:
Tapu Koko
The second electric/fairy-type Pokemon revealed to be in the game. The first Pokemon who also has this type of matching was Dedenne. But unlike Dedenne, Tapu Koko is more of an insect-type than a rodent. Well from how it looks like, I can safely assume that it’s an insect. I guess. One very cool thing about Tapu Koko is its Nature Madness attack.
Cutiefly
This Pokemon is a flying/fairy type which resembles both a hummingbird and a mosquito. In the trailer, you can watch Cutiefly unleash an airborne attack on a Pancham. The Pokémon also lives up to the first part of its name and is, indeed, very cute.
Togedemaru
This is an electric type of Pokemon. Although Togedemaru looks like an electric rat but the truth is, this Pokemon is part-steel. In the trailer you can see this Pokemon packs a punch with its Discharge attack. What I’m really curious about this Pokemon is that how the steel typing comes into effect.
Charjabug
The above Pokemon were cute and had some catchy names but, Charjabug is kind of a weird looking Pokemon that has the worst name of all the seven new Pokemon IMO. I can’t really describe how it looks. It’s like a green garbage truck. Oh by the way, this Pokemon is the evolution of Grubbin! However, I don’t really want to bully this Pokemon considering the fact that it is an electric/bug type Pokemon and, the fact that it will evolve to something really powerful. Check its pre-evolution below.
Vikavolt
Yet another electric type Pokemon. Vikavolt is an electric beetle which can throw a devastating Zap Cannon. Like I’ve said before, this is Charjabug’s pre-evolution. Pretty cool isn’t it? Seeing a harmless bug turns into something this awesome!
Bruxish
Bruxish is a water/psychic type Pokemon who has the ability to dazzle its opponent. You can see this Pokemon use Psywave on an opposing Pikachu, which deals good damage on the electric Pokemon.
Drampa
Drampa is a normal/dragon type Pokemon and I can say that it is the best Pokemon I’ve seen so far in the trailer. Aside from the fact that it can release a fearsome Dragon Breath attack, Drampa is one cute dragon that surely many trainers would like to have.
