Find out where to farm Hadium Flakes & Wormspores in Destiny: The Taken King, as shown the fast way in this tutorial video.
– Requirements: You need to have at least a level 35 or higher character.
– Location: Go to the Rings of Saturn on Oryx’s Dreadnaught to play the “Patrol The Dreadnaught” Level 35 Patrol Mission; In the “Hull Breach” spawn area, walk forward towards to the huge round metal engine-like round metal that’s green with white stripes on the side. Right in front of it, turn around to where you came from to see an underground cave with the first Hadium Flake chest.
Then go back to the outside surface and directly to the right of the huge engine (that we mentioned before) you’ll find a bunch of partly destroyed metal beams on a heap (with an orange glow from fire between them) to find the green-glowing Wormspore at their base (other times it’s also among grouped spikes sticking out of the ground).
The video guide above shows 8 minutes of the continuous circular route you take in the Sword quest that requires you to collect 25 Hadium Flakes to complete.
– How To Do It: Farm the Hadium Flakes & Wormspores by going around in circles through all the underground caves and walking past surface spikes to find them the most.
Here’s another infinite / unlimited Hadium Flake chest farming spot:
– Requirements: Make sure no one else is there or else the loot chest will de-spawn (disappear) and you will have to back to orbit and do it all over again.
— It’s unclear if it works with multiple people doing this run.
— You need to have at least a level 35 or higher character.
– Location: There’s a second spot if you once again go to the Rings of Saturn on Oryx’s Dreadnaught to play the “Patrol The Dreadnaught” Level 35 Patrol Mission; This time walk to the “Mausoleum” area’s backside (past the fighting enemies) to find a quiet cave walkway where you’ll come across a green-lit bronze Loot chest that you can open to collect its Hadium Flake contents.
– How To Do It: Once you reach the location where you can farm unlimited amount of Hadium. The chest will almost always be there when you first arrive. All you need to do is open the chest and run the path until you see the letters “THE FOUNTS” on the bottom left hand side of your screen then quickly go back and do it all other again.
