Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Weapon Stats Comparison (With Foundry & Raid Guns)

Finally found what I have been looking for this day! A stat comparison for the Legendary Weapon in Destiny TTK!

Thought I would share it to you guys also... (Check it out below)

Note: The content you will see below is not mine. I did create the guide and I don't take credit. All I just do is share it to you guys for add. knowledge. The original post was from https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3mn86u/legendary_weapon_stats_comparison_spreadsheet_now/ and the legendary weapon stats comparison for TTK was made by circular_ref.

What's the purpose of this?

The main purpose of this is compare stats by impact class. I have calculated a "score" for each weapon but you should use it only as an approximation of the combined stat roll, NOT what is the best weapon. It also will help with extremes, like what's the worst score in class vs the best.

Why did you weight the scores for impact?

The score favors impact and rate of fire over stability and range, as those two items can get perks to increase significantly. However, with 2.0, range drop-off can be a SIGNIFICANT penalty, especially for hand cannons.

Why is my favorite gun lower scored?

The score is not perfect as its weighted towards impact and may not accurately reflect the best gun. But how does your gun compare with others in its impact class?

What do you recommend to use?

In general, the best guns are going to be perfectly rolled perks to compensate for a weakness. I included the year 1 guns so you can compare and find a comparably year 2 to an old favorite.

What are the perfect rolls?

In general, get a weapon that has only one weakness and get the roll that compensates for it. Bungie has redesigned a lot of the perks so its a little too early to say what the best perks are yet. Old favorites like outlaw, firefly, crowd control, etc are still strong. If you're raiding - reloading and ammo perks will be very strong.

What are the big surprises?

The Foundry orders have some awesome guns. Check out the Omolon order for Eirene RR4 in the future for more impact than the 1000-yard stare. The Hung Jury from Dead Orbit is especially good too. The raid guns in of themselves are statistically underwhelming. Personally, I infused the shotgun & the fusion into my 1000-yard stare for more DPS in the raid.

What about damage per second in PVE?

There is a post on reddit with DPS numbers for year 1 guns. I'm not sure if there will be an update for year 2.0, but its still helpful for showing how the different archetypes work. The classes of Rof/Impact are still around, most of the guns are rebranded year 1 guns with tweaks to stability, reload, range or AA. DPS doesn't always indicate the best gun though as it doesn't account range or accuracy and normalizes damage in time.

What about time to kill in PVP?

See this post on PVP weapon stats. It has a ton of useful information and is listed on the destiny useful links. Hopefully it gets updated for 2.0 as well.
