This Unofficial Companion App for The Division Makes Comparing Weapons a Lot Easier

If you want to compare your weapons and tell which has the best DPS, PVP/Boss DPS, Burst Damage and more, then look no further and meet the unofficial DivisionDPS tool.

This companion app calculates over 60 damage values per weapon, including PVP DPS, Boss DPS, Burst Damage against all enemies, Critical Hit Damage for body and headshots, damage per magazine and a lot more. Including damage buffs against elite enemies and enemy armor! Now you have all the tools and values to compare your weapons and decide which weapons fit your playstyle and which weapon is better in what situation.

So these are the values calculated for each weapon:

For each weapon there are 8 Damage Groups:
  • Normal Enemies
  • Normal Enemies (with Headshots)
  • PVP
  • PVP (with Headshots)
  • Damage against Veteran Enemy Armor
  • Damage against Veteran Enemy Armor (with Headshots)
  • Damage against Elite/Boss Enemy Armor
  • Damage against Elite/Boss Enemy Armor (with Headshots)

For each group the following values are calculated:
  • DPS
  • 0.5s Burst Damage
  • 1s Burst Damage
  • One Bullet Damage
  • One Bullet Critical Hit Damage
  • Damage per Magazine
  • Time to 70k Damage (in seconds)
  • Time to 100k Damage (in seconds)
  • Time to 1m Damage (in seconds)
  • Time to 10m Damage (in seconds)
  • 1s Burst Self Heal (if the weapon has the “Self-Preserved” Talent)

Additionally, there are the following global modifiers:
(can be turned on/off globally for all saved weapons)
  • One is None Talent (for Headshot calculations only of course)
  • Pulse
  • Tactical Link
  • Smart Cover
  • Savage Gloves (+Crit Chance against enemies out of cover)
  • (And for PVP you can specify Enemy Armor Mitigation Percentage)

Although the tool is not perfect as there are some things that are missing or need fixing like icons for active global modifiers are not update correctly on saved weapons, when turned on/off. In addition, part of the app is not available in german. But these are just little things and not a big issues afterall.

Here are a few screenshots of the app:
