Bungie Reveal New Battle Enhancement for Destiny

Following the release of Destiny April update, fans have continued to put in the hours to collect the new Chroma gear and unlock some of the new weapons options available.

It’s all in anticipation for the next Destiny DLC set to be release later in 2016, which has yet to be given a release date.

While fans wait to find out who or what they will be battling this summer, Bungie are looking to make a life a little easier for those who don’t have a Raid party to call on.

The studio plan on releasing a new update for the Recruitment forum, to help those wanting to join a team of Guardians in their next mission.

Fans have been calling for more support in this area of the game for quite some time, and it seems they will finally have a few more options at their disposals next week, via The Destiny Companion App.

“Whether it lives on your desktop or in the palm of your hand, the Destiny Companion is your fully operational battle station,” Community Manager David Dague explains.

“It’s your clubhouse, your art gallery, your vault, and your debate hall. Of all the ways you can spend time using the companion, the one activity that will have the single greatest impact on your player experience is finding new allies to back you up in combat. No matter if your enemies are Guardians or aliens, we believe that Destiny is more fun with someone watching your back.

“The #Recruitment forum is always there for you to solicit allies, but it’s traditionally been a chaotic wall of potential Fireteams. We’ve had some ideas for how that could work better, and we’ve been executing on them. Very soon, we’ll be enhancing our forum with new ways to form up and roll out into the Solar System.

“You’ll find these features on any device you use to access the Destiny Companion. At a glance, these invitations to battle are marked by platform, activity, and availability.

“If you don’t find a Fireteam that suits your needs, you’ll be able to start your own Topic to rally new teammates to your side.

“Design the ideal experience to be shared with Guardians you’ve never met, and ensure that they’ll show up packing the gear they need to swap some tactical chatter with you.”

The new “personal Clan forum” will be launched next week for fans to try out, Bungie recently revealed they had banned a new crop of players for cheating in Destiny, ahead of the recent Trials Of Osiris event.
