Blade & Soul KR has implemented yet another skill update in December, with major skill changes to Kungfu Master, Force Master, Summoner, Blade Dancer and Warlock. The following skill changes are based on the update note for test server on 4th Dec 2015. The official update might differ. This article will focus on the skill changes for the existing classes. A separate articles will be written for the skill details of the new class, Soul Fighter / Force Kungfu Master.
New Class – Soul Fighter
- A new class, Soul Fighter / Force Kungfu Master has been added.
- Only available to Gon and Kun race.
General
- Elemental effect is applied to all Awakened Skills (from Spiritualize buff of warlock)
- When you are Knock Down, if you are inflicted with Stun or Groggy status, the skill which can be used when you are Knock Down become inactive.
- When you are Knock Down or Groggy, if you are inflicted with Stun status, Backward Roll cannot be used.
Blade Master
Draw (LB)
– Form 1, 2 are changed to lightning elemental.
– Form 3 are changed to fire elemental.
– Damage increase
Flash Draw (LB)
– Damage increase
Spiral Slash (LB)
– Form 3 path is added.
Kungfu Master
Syoruken (F)
– Form 4 path is added.
– Form 1, 4 path: adjust the landing location after hitting the target.
– Form 1, 3 path: change to Wind elemental
– Form 2 path: change to Fire elemental
Ankle Strike (3)
– change to Wind elemental
Roundhouse Kick (4)
– change to Fire elemental
Searing Kick (4)
– change to Fire elemental
– Level 3 Form 3: increase the CD reduction of Pressure Point (X)
Elbow Strike (1)
– Level 3/4 Form 2, CD is changed to 0.4sec
Explosive Fist (2)
– Form 3 is shifted to Tiger Palm (2) path
Tiger Palm (2)
– increase AOE
Cold Surge (TAB)
– increase Freeze AOE
– can be cast instantly.
Blaze Kick (LB)
– minimum range is adjusted to 5m
Destroyer
Slam (Z)
– Form 2: Groggy status duration is reduced
Abyss (F)
– the Knock Down effect is only applied to the target (not to all enemies within the AOE)
Force Master
Flame Soul & Ice Soul– New Skills
– learning Flame Soul will enhance Flame Palm (LB), Heat Wave (F), Flame Dragon Blast (F)
– learning Ice Soul will enhance Frost Palm (RB), Cold Wave (F), Frost Dragon Blast (F), Glaze Palm (Z)
Frost Palm (RB)
– Reduce damage
– Level 3 Form 1: removed
Flame/Frost Dragon Blast (F)
– damage increase
– higher skill priority than Heat/Cold Wave (F)
Heat/Cold Wave (F)
– change to 3 hits; increase damage
Force Blast (1)
– Level 5 Form 3: increase the damage dealt to target with 5 embers.
– Form 4: increase damage
Twin Dragon Blast (F)
– Form 1: change to instant cast
– CD is changed to 18sec
– higher skill priority than Flame/Frost Dragon Blast (F)
– Level 1 Form 3 : reduce damage
– Form 2 path: removed
Blaze Blast (2)
– Level 5 Form 3: the effect of “Generate Flame Orb upon crit” is changed to “reduce the CD of Twin Dragon Blast (F) by 1sec upon crit”.
Spirit Orb (4)
– change to Ice elemental
Conflagration (TAB)
– induce 2 x Knock Down.
Glaze Palm (Z)
– add effect: when Glaze Palm hits, Glacial Palm (X) gains maximum speed.
Glacial Palm (X)
– Level 3 Form 1: the effect of “Generate 1 Frost Orb” is changed to “increase frozen damage”
– Level 3/4/5 Form 1: CD is changed to 36sec
Glacial Torrent (X)
– Level 3 Form 1: generate 1 Frost Orb.
Assassin
Leaf Shift
– Dispel inability to use charging skill
Leaf Sunder
– Dispel inability to use charging skill
Summoner
Rose (LB)
– Increase the damage of base skill (same as the original Level 1 Form 1)
– Level 2 Form 1: the effect of “increase projectile speed” is shifted to Level 1 Form 1
– Level 3 Form 1: the effect of “increase the speed of successive casting” is shifted to Level 2 Form 1
– Level 4 Form 1: the effect of “Counter Piercing” is shifted to Level 3 Form 1
– Level 5 Form 1: the effect of “Generate 1 additional MP upon crit” is shifted to Level 4 Form 1
– Level 5 Form 1: the effect of “Sunflower (RB) or Big Sunflower (RB) can be cast without MP upon crit” is removed.
– Form 2 path: new skill path with earth elemental
– Level 4 Form 2: increase damage
– Level 5 Form 2: Sunflower (RB) or Big Sunflower (RB) can be cast without MP upon crit
– Form 3 path: the original Form 2 path is changed to Form path
Awakened Rose (LB)
– Remove the effect of “reduce the CD of Chestnut Burr (4), Throwing Chestnut (F)”
Hornet (RB)
– Form 1 path: reduce damage
– Level 2 Form 2: can move while casting under invisibility status
– Level 3 Form 1: the effect of “deal additional damage when it is instant cast” is changed to “deal additional damage upon crit” and increase the additional damage
– Level 5 Form 1: add instant cast condition “on stun, groggy, knock down, floated target”
– Level 5 Form 2: remove the effect of “slow enemies by 2%, max 10 stacks”.
– Level 5 Form 2: add instant cast condition “on stun, groggy, knock down target”; and “can be instant cast while moving”
Throwing Chestnut (F)
– Level 2 Form 2: add effect – dispel the guard of enemies within the AOE, and render them to use guard skills.
– Level 3 Form 2: add effect – reset the CD of Hornet (RB) upon use. Render enemies unable to use charging skill for 6sec.
Tiger Dragon Nyance (C)
– Level 3 Form 1: the trigger condition for additional damage is changed to “when Chestnut Burr (4), Throwing Chestnut (F) hit enemies”
Launch Bomb (V)
– Level 5 Form 3: the trigger condition for additional damage is changed to “when Chestnut Burr (4), Throwing Chestnut (F) hit enemies”
Cheer (Z)
– Base, Level 1 Form 1: HP recovery is changed from 20% to 30%
– Level 2 Form 1: HP recovery is change from 40% To 60%
Pounce (TAB)
– cat approachs the target faster
Blade Dancer
Sequence Slash (2)
– Level 2 Form 2: CD is changed to 30sec. Add effect – after you learn Wind Soul, each hit reduces the CD of Kaiten Soul (Z) by 2 sec. Increase the damage increase after learning Wind SOul.
– Level 3 Form 2: add effect – increase casting speed.
Thunderbolt (F)
– increase casting speed
– Level 2 Form 2: increase damage; change CD. induce Knock Down to enemies around the target. Gain max speed after using Sunder (RB)
Low Slash (3)
– Level 3 Form 1: increase AOE
Guardian Spirit (Z)
– Level 5 Form 1: the effect of “recover 2% hp upon resist” is changed to “recover 3 MP upon resist”; increase HP recovery amount upon cast.
Vortex (TAB)
– Level 3 Form 3: reduce the MP recovery from dispelling inability to move.
Warlock
Raging Spirit (4)
– Level 3 Form 1: reduce Ravage (F) CD by 1sec.
– Level 3 Form 2: reduce damage; reduce the additional damage to floated target
Gate (3)
– Level 2 Form 1: add effect – reduce Ravage (F) CD by 6sec when the last hit lands.
– Add Form 2 skill tree
Rupture (F)
– Level 3 Form 1: remove the effect of “Can be used when Gate deals critical damage”. Add effect: Absorb HP upon crit and increase Marking duration.
Bounded Field (2)
– Level 5 Form 1: remove effect of “recover 2% hp upon hit”; add effect “increase Hp absorption effect”.
– Level 2 Form 2: CD is changed to 18sec; inflict 4 sec immobile status.
– Level 3 Form 2: only float groggy and stunned enemy (but not enemy which is knocked down). add effect: increase the floating duration of floated enemies.
– Level 5 Form 2: remove the effect of “reset CD of Gate (3)”; add effect “can be cast up to twice”
– New Form 4 skill tree added
Spirit Surge (V)
– Form 1/2: remove guard piercing effect
– Level 2 Form 2: remove the effect of “induce Internal Injury for 12sec”; the effect of “convert 25% of damage to HP” is changed to “convert 25% of damage to HP when it deals critical damage”.
– New Form 3 skill tree added
Warding Charm (1)
– Level 2 Form 1: reduce HP recovery amount
– Level 2 Form 3: CD is changed to 3sec; Counter duration is changed from 2sec to 0.5sec. Trigger condition is changed to “when counter successfully”.
Quell (F)
– Form 3: CD is changed to 9sec
– Level 3 Form 4: float target (not just stunned target)
– Form 2/4: remove projectile effect
Dimensional Bullet (RB)
– Base, Form 1: reduce damage
Circle of Purification (C)
– Level 5 Form 1: increase HP recovery
– Level 5 Form 1/2: add HP recovery effect
Protection Charm (Z)
– Level 3 Form 1: the effect of “recover HP/MP upon resist” is changed to “recovery HP/MP upon cast”
Eclipse (SS)
– Level 2 Form 1: reduce Hp recovery amount
Mantra (LB)
– Level 3 Form 2: reduce HP recovery amount
Ravage (F)
– Level 3 Form 2: reduce HP recovery amount
– Level 3 Form 3: CD is changed to 24sec; reduce duration. The effect of “reset the CD of Raging Spirit (4), Spirit Surge (V) is removed”
Spiritualize (TAB)
– reduce the buff duration from 20sec to 15sec
