Pokemon Sun and Moon Sequel "Star" For Nintendo Switch Leaked

At 7:00 a.m. PT/10:00 a.m. ET today, Nintendo will hold a special Direct event to unveil some new Pokemon theme. The announcement of Pokemon Star could be very close, as reported by a NeoGAF user who claims to be working on the western localization of the game.

A few hours ago, Nintendo has announced a surprise Pokemon Direct set for today, Tuesday, June 6. A user of NeoGAF, who claims to be one of the translators who is dealing with the localization of the game, said that the next installment in the series is the coveted Pokemon Star.

The user in question has released some details, as well as presented a in-game picture and concept art. Pokemon Stars (codename) should be available on the Nintendo 3DS and Switch, with support for the Cross-Play, the game is set to Alola, the insider also reveals the presence of new Z-moves and a new form for Necrozma while there will be no new Pokemon or mega evolution additional than the Sun and Moon.

Pokemon Star seems to be defined as a true sequel to the Pokemon Sun and Moon and the plot is told through numerous cutscenes. The male lead is known as Kaosu while Hoshi is the name of the female character.
