The World of Warcraft community have published a new Lore article which reveals the new king of Stormwind, Anduin Wryn. Along with the revelation of the new king, it also contains a bunch of spoilers, mostly for Alliance characters. Also, it features some developer commentary about the creation of the story line as well as some profiles of the notable Alliance leaders.
There was no time to grieve for Anduin. However, with our return to the Broken Shore in Patch 7.2, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to revisit the young Wrynn’s storyline, and reveal to the audience that he’s still struggling to find his place as a king and coming to terms with the death of his father.

Horde fans will hopefully see an equally moving story cinematic about their fallen Warchief, Vol'Jin, who was mortally wounded on the Broken Shore.
