Real-Life Zelda: Breath of the Wild Spirit Orbs

Without a doubt, one of the most frustrating aspects of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can be the process of attempting to acquire Spirit Orbs by solving the action-adventure game’s many puzzles tucked away within the numerous Ancient Shrines found throughout Hyrule. Now, thanks to the artistic skills of the Etsy creator and Reddit user known as CuteMonsterProps, fans can skip the Shrines altogether and just purchase a Spirit Orb in the real world, as the fan has crafted physical versions of the item from Nintendo’s open world title.

As seen in the image below, CuteMonsterProps has diligently recreated a fantastic real life iteration of the Nintendo Switch and Wii U game’s Spirit Orbs for gamers to display in their homes, offices, or wherever they want folks to see them and realize that there’s a fan of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fan somewhere nearby. Of course, even though they’re wonderful recreations of the in-game item to collect, players will still need to gather them in BotW if they want to level Link up properly.

According to CuteMonsterProps’ Etsy page, the Spirit Orbs from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are available for pre-order now with the item going for $60 without an LED stand, and for $65 with an LED stand. Each of the Spirit Orbs are handmade glass orbs that are roughly 2.75 inches in diameter and come with a flat bottom for easy display without the need of a stand. The emblem in the center has been laser etched in order to mimic the ghostly floating effect the icon has in the in-game item, and the glass has been tinted with a spray paint to give it a soft purple hue.

As CuteMonsterProps Etsy shop owner Kyle Javelli posted on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild subreddit, he has also been thinking about creating orbs for the game’s Champions’ abilities as well. Apparently, as long as there’s a big enough demand for their creation, he will try to begin work on them as well.

Should CuteMonsterProps’ Spirit Orbs from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild not be one’s cup of tea, he also has other Zelda-inspired items on his Etsy page, such as a 1:1 scale replica of Majora’s Mask from the Nintendo 64 and 3DS games of the same name. As many will likely agree, we hope he keeps making fantastic game-related wares for as long as he can.
