Bethesda have confirmed that some major DLC content is coming to Fallout 4 soon.
The current Survival Mode is also set for improvements, with the studio confirming last year that updates would be based around fan input.
Bethesda revealed on Twitter: "We know you're ready to learn what's coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We're not far off, and we think you'll be excited.
"We're also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Good, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned."
Patch 1.3 is now live on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The update makes a number of major changes to the game, including 'dramatically increased object fading distances'.
This news was confirmed by Eurogamer, which found 'surprising improvements to draw distance settings for geometry and foliage'.
It was added: "Given frame-rates are broadly unchanged, this is a win-win situation on console overall. It's all gain on the visual front, especially in broad views of Lexington where we now see cars, bollards and extra terrain rendered in from the rooftops."
Meanwhile, a YouTuber has decided to showcase some of the Boston wasteland's most secretive areas.
These places are not shown on the in-game Pip-Boy's map, which means they are very easy to overlook unless gamers are paying very close attention to the world around them.
The secret areas discovered include a Power Armour warehouse, a Raider Lookout Camp and Joe's Spackies Coffee Shop.
