Poké Pelago Guide in Pokemon Sun & Moon

Poké Pelago is a new area that was added in Sun and Moon, that finally enables you to use Pokémon in your Box. Box Pokémon can participate in variety of games and activities and help you find Pokémon, items and utility items.

You can get to Poké Pelago via the ingame menu. Poké Pelago is run by Mohn, a friendly character that will help you to unlock all Poké Pelago features and islands. The main goal of Poké Pelago is to collect Poké Beans.

There are 5 Poké Pelago Islands:
  • Isle Abeens – gather Poké Beans
  • Isle Aplenny – grow Berries
  • Isle Aphun – send Pokémon on missions
  • Isle Eveup – passive training for Pokémon (EV training)
  • Isle Avue – Hot Springs Island to hatch Eggs and gain Happiness
What are Poké Beans?

Poké Beans are consumable items that boost effects in Poké Pelago. There are special PokéBeans (Rainbow and Patterned) which cost 3 and 7 normal Poké Beans. Regular Beans last 20 minutes each, Patterned Beans last 1 hour and Rainbow Beans last 2 hours.

Isla Abeens

Isla Abeens is the initial Island you visit and it’s used to harvest Poké Beans. A beanstalk grows in the center and Beans fall down for your Pokémon to collect.

Isle Abeens is also the only island that attracts wild Pokémon that can be captured if they like it there.

There are 3 ranks (upgrade levels) for Isle Abeens with specific requirements:
