The Naruto and Boruto stage event at Jump Fest 2017 announcing on Saturday, that Boruto Manga by Ukyou Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto, is getting TV Anime project which is slated for April 2017 release. The official twitter account of Shounen Jump also confirmed the news about the Boruto TV series.

However, they didn't specify wether the anime would be a complete Anime series, or they are just going to combine with Naruto Shippuden. Considering the current pace of Naruto Shippuden Anime series, and the recent schedule of Naruto Shippuden states that the currently on-going Naruto Shinden ANime series will continue till February 2017.
ALso there is no news about the next arc after Naruto Shinden Anime series, hence I think that the Naruto Shippuden Anime series will take 2 months break and then it will continue once again in the month of APril with the story of Next Generation (Boruto Next Generation Anime).
It's also possible that Naruto Gaiden- The seventh hokage and the scarlet spring manga might get an anime adaptation. Considering how the anime stagg want to keep the anime series alive by delivering more content from Naruto Hiden/Shinden Light Novel and after that they will continue with Boruto next generation anime.
Also Masashi Kishimoto himself said during the stage event that he plans to make Boruto Anime even better than Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, confirms that he might be the one overseeing the plot of the upcoming Boruto Anime. Currently Boruto Manga is wrapping up the BOruto- Naruto the Movie part in Manga and then will move the next arc which will be completely new.
