World of Warcraft: Legion patch 7.1 is live now on the PTR, and some of changes to the expansion’s user interface have been shown off.
As covered earlier, Legion patch 7.1 reintroduces the Karazhan raid as a large 5-man dungeon. Additional details, including a mandatory attunement for Karazhan and its difficulty, were shared by Blizzard later on.
The patch went live last week on the PTR, and website WoWhead has provided a preview at some of the UI changes included with the patch.
As of patch 7.1, it would seem that players will finally be able to hide their belt at the Transmogrification NPC. Currently, players are already able to hide their helmet, cloak, and shoulders, but patch 7.1 will add belts to that list as well.
Another interesting improvement is that bagged gear now features a small upward arrow if this particular item provides an item level upgrade over the item that’s currently equipped.
Now that we’re talking item icons and windows – patch 7.1 features a greatly expanded icon window for creating macro’s, and a “Quick Join” option has been added in the player’s Friend List.
Last but not least, it seems that the flightpath map will be receiving some updates in the upcoming patch, and the map will show icons for story quest objectives or NPCs. As such, players will be able to see which flight route will drop them off closest to their objective.
Connecting flightpath nodes have been removed in patch 7.1 on the PTR, and a line will appear mentioning the final destination once chosen. This line will remain in place even after the mouse is moved.
The sixth World of Warcraft expansion released several weeks ago, and sold 3.3 million copies on day one. According to Blizzard, sales matched the all-time record achieved by previous expansions.
