In this video the game’s producer Josh Mast brings a first look at the gameplay in Toy Soldiers: War Chest. For this demo he is commanding the Kaiser army against the enemy Starbright forces.
Unlockable DLC Armies
Sorry, Ubisoft has not made any Armies unlockable in-game because they are mostly famous 80’s cartoon/toy franchises that are no doubt expensive to license. As such the standard version of the game comes with only 4 Armies (the Kaiser, Starbright, Phantom and Dark Lord Armies).
You’ll have to pay extra for the 4 other DLC Army Packs (of the G.I. Joe, Cobra, He-Man: Masters of the Universe and Assassin’s Creed Armies).
Or buy all 8 Armies available at launch as part of the game’s Hall of Fame Edition, which still doubles the price from $15 to $30.
