Note: Finding all 77 Clue locations and picking them up will help unlock the following Trophy:
* “The Tale of The Two Sisters” (Gold Trophy) — The group found all the clues from the Twins Clueline.
* “The Fateful Descent” (Gold Trophy) — The group found all the clues from the 1952 Clueline.
* “You Opened Their Eyes” (Gold Trophy) — The group found all the clues from the Mystery Man Clueline.
* Bonus: With each Clue you view, you can read more backstory. Clues can not give information about the story, but sometimes even change the plot!
Until Dawn Clues
How to find missing Clues?: As you explore, you can discover Clues. Investigating a Clue and reading it will reveal more about the game’s backstory and can influence the game’s plot. – Make some time to investigate them and read through all the documents and such that you come across on your travels.
The Clues are divided into 3 categories, namely: “The Twins” with 20 Clues, “1952” with 27 Clues, and “The Mystery Man” with 30 Clues.
Tip: To see which Clues you’re missing, there’s a collectibles tracker in the Main Menu’s Collectibles section. Each collectible has its own number and name listed per chapter / episode, so it’s easy to track down which one(s) you don’t have yet.
Helpful Note: Even after completing the game you can go back into each chapter / episode to find any missing Clues by choosing Episode Select. – Episode Select allows you to go back and change your decisions. You can also use episode select to save characters from dying, but will have to replay all episodes from that point on.
Does the game save each Clues you collect?: Yes, the game will automatically save the Clues you just collected if you found or investigated the Clue (it will say so on-screen), so you don’t have to play to the end of the chapter. After picking up each collectible you can safely quit the chapter without losing collectibles progress.
Important to know before collecting: In your collectibles playthrough you must make all 8 characters survive to the end. If characters die early, then you won’t be able to pick up certain collectibles with them later on. – We’ll highlight any specifics per chapter / episode, where possible.
That said, most collectibles can still be acquired if some people die.

• Sam’s Survival – 13:15 – Survival Tip: At the end of Chapter 5, Sam will get chased by the Maniac. It is absolutely crucial that you make her escape (hide in elevator, as shown at the end of this Chapter 5 video guide). Sam will then be able to reach all of the collectibles in Chapter 7.
If she doesn’t escape in Chapter 5 you cannot find all Chapter 7 collectibles and will have to replay the game from Chapter 5 onwards.
