The very first The Walking Dead: Michonne Miniseries trailer has been shown for the 3-episode romp, that takes place in between Seasons 2 and 3 of The Walking Dead game. Episode 1 of 3 will be released in February 2016.
A stand-alone three episode event, ‘The Walking Dead: Michonne’ further bridges together the Telltale game series with the canon of Robert Kirkman’s comic through one of its most complex characters.
The story explores Michonne, portrayed by award-winning actress Samira Wiley (of ‘Orange is the New Black’ fame), on an untold journey during the time between issues #126 and #139. Haunted by her past, players will discover what took her away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.
The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Games Series will be available this February to download on PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, compatible iOS devices, and Android.
Note: Telltale Games’ Head of Creative Communications, Job Stauffer, said on his Twitter that Michonne’s Episode 1 will be around 2 to 3 hours of “consumable, single-sitting content”.
